Introduction
CTET Exam 2025 : CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test. It is national-level eligibility exam, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This exam is conducted twice every year by CBSE and this exam is conducted every year so that the candidates who are eligible in this exam are appointed as teachers in Central Government Schools such as KVS, NVS, and others.
There are two Papers in CTET exam – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for those candidates who want to teach from Class 1 to Class 5 (Primary Teachers) and Paper 2 is for those candidates who want to teach from Class 6 to Class 8 (Elementary Teachers). Apart from this, if a candidate wants to study from class 1 to class 8, then he will have to give both the papers.

- Click on the ‘Apply for CTET 2025’ link.
- Click on ‘New Registration’.
- Go through the details, click on acknowledgement and proceed.
- Register by filling in the required details.
- Fill out the application form- personal information like your all IDs, contact details and educational details.
- Upload the documents such as photograph and signature(max 100kb size only ).
- Pay the CTET application fee.

CTET Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025
- Candidates should be Class 12 pass with a minimum of 45 % aggregate to be qualified for the CTET exam for primary teacher
- Candidates should graduate with a minimum of 45 &aggregate or Class 12 with at least 50 per cent aggregate to be qualified for the CTET exam for elementary stage teacher
- Candidates should have completed the prescribed teacher training programs/teacher education courses.
